    2. Key Information

    1. Inje University was established in 1979 as Inje Medical College and has grown to become one of the most prestigious private universities in Korea with 5 University General Hospitals – Seoul-, Sanggye-, Ilsan-, Busan-, and Haeundae-Paik Hospital.
    2. Provides the full-time international students with 85% tuition waiver and supports diverse scholarships, such as the scholarship for financial need, excellent language proficiency, and paper published in SCI journals, etc.
    3. Reduce the university hospitals fee (up to 30%) and provide the advanced payment service for medical bills
    4. Provide prayer room for Muslim students
    5. Provide the comfortable and convenient living environment
      • 1) Inje University is only 20 minutes away from the Gimhae International Airport by Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit and operates university shuttle buses to other cities (Busan, Changwon, Ulsan etc.)
      • 2) Provide dormitory with cooking facilities (Priority given to GKS recipients)
      • 3) Support dormitory fee
      • 4) Provide a mentor to help living and study
      • 5) Operate the Safety Education regularly, given by the Police Department and the Immigration Office in Gimhae

    B. Eligibility
    • 1) Applicants and their parents must hold a foreign citizenship.
    • 2) Applicants must be under 40 years of age as of September 1st, 2021(born after September 1st, 1981).
    • 3) Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree as of August 31st of the selection year(2021).
    • 4) Applicants must maintain a minimum grade-point-average (GPA) of 2.64 on a 4.0 scale,2.80 on a 4.3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale, or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previously attended institution.

    3. Important Notes

    • 1) Before applying to the graduate program at Inje University, applicants are advised to contact with the staff in charge of GKS and discuss his or her admission.
    • 2) Applicants must apply for this program through only one organization, either University or Embassy.
    • 3) If any of application documents is missing or contains false information, the admission may be rescinded.
    • 4) All application documents will not be returned.
    • 5) All documents should be written in English or Korean. Documents written in other language must be translated into English or Korean, and notarized.
    • 6) A student whose graduation is pending at other institutions during the time of application should submit the Graduation Certificate(s) and the Degree Certificate(s) before starting the language course.
    • 7) Applicants may be requested to submit additional documents for screening.(ex. GPA conversion certificate issued by applicant’s previous university)
