    Established in 1994, the trade department was renamed the Department of International Trade in 1999 and started offering master's and doctorate program in five majors: international economics, international finance, multinational corporation, international commerce, risk management and insurance. In line with the recent surge in demand for international trade studies, the curriculum is designed/opened and faithfully carried out. Along with the quantitative growth of international trade graduate schools, the government plans to establish a new curriculum to focus more on research capabilities in the future and enter the BK21+ project by attracting various research projects between graduate students and professors.

    Established in 1996 as the Department of Journalism at the School of Social Sciences, the department was renamed the Department of Media Communication from 2021 to encompass the rapidly expanding new media such as the Internet, mobile phone, SNS and YouTube. The graduate program was first established in 2005 and is largely divided into journalism, advertising and public relations, communication theory and policies, video production and theory.

    Graduates of this department are journalists, producers, public relations and advertising staff at major broadcasting stations in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, as well as newspapers, large and small productions in Seoul and other regions, contributing to the formation and communication of public opinion nationwide and region.
